can provera be use for abortion?? and what is the effect if you intake provera while you are pregnant??

I've never heard of provera being used for abortion. Provera is progesterone which is what your body naturally increases when you become pregnant. You should call your doctor if they have prescribed provera for you and your pregnant. In child bearing woman provera is commonly used to force a bleed (period).

For some women, progesterone is GIVEN to help sustain the pregnancy and  keep it strong.

I would not self induce an abortion or miscarriage.
