advise on laproscopy/laprotomy

Hello, this is my first time on any of these sites......i am due to have a laproscopy on the 27th to have a 5cm cyst removed from my right ovary and a 3cm one removed from the left, i have had alot of pain and discomfort for some time with this....they have also told me that they may have to do it open surgery with a laprotomy.....my worry is that i get married on the 3rd july and we go on our honeymoon on the 8th july.....my consultant has said that i should be ok but cant guarantee this, can anyone offer any advice on this please, should i leave the surgery till after the honeymoon but risk the cysts getting bigger and possibly causing me more pain?? Will i be ok to fly is i do have the open surgery?? Please ladies any advise would be gratefully accepted, i am 34 and have never had any kind of surgery before and am getting a little worried.
