air stuck after pulling out a tampon?

so i was pulling out a tampon that i had accidentally put in wrong and it felt like air shot up and it's kinda painful. i can't get it out anyone know what i can do? is it bad if you have air stuck in there? do i just do nothing and it'll go away on its own?

hmmm. I dont really know what you mean and I have been a tampon user for over 17yrs. Whatever you feel will most likely subside in a day or two.
