also a question on acne

i also have a question. i have moderate acne on my face, neck, back, and chest. i keep the body acne down by using witch hazel. but i was wondering if anyone has any tips. i ordered proactiv but havent gottn it yet - it is my last resort. i did take birth control and it worked wonderfully but i havent taken that sice january becasue we are trying to conceive. its embarrasing! thanks for any tips ;)

How old are you? I was told that adult acne especially on the jaw line and neck, chest, back in older women is more hormonal than anything, thats why the birth control pills work so well. I have also been told that it can be a sign of low estrogen. That is my case.

i am 20. yeah i know it is a hormonal imbalance.  no face washes ever worked for me. i hope proactiv does!:)

I am 22 and have he same problems. Proactive didn't work for me, but my friends use it. I have tried every cream out there. My husband is a naturepathic and has me on Tea Tree face wash and Sovereign Silver in a spray. So far so good. You can buy these products at a Nature's Medicine Shop. I also smoke and he claims that makes it worse? I may never know.... Good Luck!
