am i ok?

Brief History- had an abortion 5 months ago, my menses has since been regular, last menses was really dark and thick and i want to have a baby now, is it possible my fertility is been affected?

It's possible,but I definately think this is something you should ask your doctor.

There is always a possibility that your fertility was effected after an abortion.  The risk of an unknown infection caused by getting an abortion can effect your ovaries.  Talk to your doctor.  If you want to have a baby, it's important that you start taking care of yourself before your get pregnant.  Stop smoking, drinking, using drugs, eat healthy meals and take a multivitamin.  A healthy lifestyle can increase your chances of getting pregnant.  Good luck to you!
