am i pregnant?

jtk
I wonder if anyone can help? I had unprotected sex on the 12th October and two days ago I noticed a very light bleeding, brown and pink in colour. This was very early though as my period normally always comes exactly on time, around 29/30 th of every month. However,I had all the usual period symptoms: slightly irritable the previous day, cramping, lower back pain and raised temperature. However, the blood was very light and has now almost disappeared. I have no other pregnancy symptoms, but could I still be pregnant? I have also been under a bit of stress lately so could this just be the problem?

Thanks

Yes, you can.

The reason being that your body might ovulate about 2 weeks after the m/c, just as if the m/c was your period.  So then you'd be waiting for a period about 4 weeks after the m/c but it never shows up because you ovulated and got pg.  It's actually happens a lot - getting pg immediately after a m/c.

Good luck!

I recently miscarried twice within the last 5 months. Can you get pregnant by having unprotected sex after a miscarriage even if you have not had your next period?

I got my positive hpt on the day after my missed period - which is equivalent to today for you.  Like I mentioned before, they are 99% accurate the day of or after your missed period.

They have always been accurate for me (both pg and not pg).  You could buy one today and take it tomorrow morning for best results - because your first morning urine is the most concentrated.

Good luck!

If you had sex then you can be pregnant.  It's as simple as that.  No one on this forum can tell you if you are or not, so take a test. That's the only way you are going to know for certain.

I had a miscarriage in August at 8 weeks pregnant, but now I am also a day late for my period and I am experiencing the same symptoms as you are.  Sensitive breasts when touched and slightly more tired than usual.  Other than that I'm not feeling any other obvious pregnancy symptoms.  I will also take a test tomorrow morning.  I hope we both get the answer we are looking for.  Good luck to you.

Hey do you think I should wait to take a hpt until the end of the week? Would there be enough hCG built up in my system to take one yet?

Chances of getting pg on any given month are roughly 33%.

If you missed your period yesterday then you can take any hpt and it will be about 99% accurate.

Good luck!

Hi I hope someone can help me. I had a miscarrage last march, I was about 2 1/2 mo. preg. and so I got the depo-provera shot, my husband and I decided for me not to get the shot again so we could get pregnant. As soon as I didn't take the shot again my period returned. Lately I have been really bloated and tired off and on, my breasts aren't sore but if you touch them they are sensitive. I don't really have any symptoms but I was supposed to get me period by yesterday and haven't seen any sign, not even cramping. What are my chances of being pregnant?

Unfortunately, no one can answer your question.  If you think you might be pregnant, the only thing you can do to find out is to take a pregnancy test.

Sometimes periods are lighter than others, but if you are worried, just take a test.  If you still aren't sure, see your doctor.
