You are NOT alone hun. I have the same thing. Like you, it is after a bowel movement that I really notice it, and I sometimes even use a wet wipe to make sure I am really clean. I also get this after I have been walking sometimes (like I get sweaty and it gets irritating). I have been wondering what it could be also. I have even put powder in my undies to try to absorb any sweatSweat electrolytes test Sweat test Sweating Sweating - absent or moistureMoisture drops Moisture eyes Moisture eyes pm. I hate it. It is really annoying. I would like to know what it could be but we may just have to deal with it unfortunately. Good Luck to ya.
me too!it is embarassing, but it makes me feel a whole lot better knowing im not the only one.i use a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys cortisone cream, that helps a little with the itching.
O they things we talk about............ yes, I too have it! I live in Louisiana and it gets really hot here and well.......I sweat and get what we call the "red a**" Baby powder is a miracle worker! Also, one more thing I would like to bring up......a not so pleasant thing........pinworms........they too can cause itching. So that is another thing to think about.......ick!
This may sound stupid, but if you have gone to the doctor and eliminated things such as pinworms, consider that you may be having a reaction to the soap you wash with. I know someone who had this problem & it was their soap. I also had a problem with soap giving me an awful odor down in that area. A lot of soaps have perfumes that we react to. I use plain old Dial(no perfumes, no aloe, etc.) and have no more problems.
I had this problem, but luckily for me it only lasted a week or so. I found out the itching was caused by my drinking pop/soda with artificial sweetener. (there was a sale on a certain brand, so I stocked up and was drinking maybe 3 cans per day). After I quit the pop, the itching went away (thank goodness!)
ANAL ITCHING, ARRRGGG !!! OK I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR SOME TIME ALSO.. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING!!! BUT YESTERDAY I TRIED SOMETHING OUT OF PURE DESPERATION...AND THUS FAR IT HAS WORKED FOR ME... AS FAR AS A PERMANENT SOLUTION I GUESS ONLY TIME WILL TELL. HOWEVER I AM GOING TO CONTINUE WITH THIS AND WILL REPORT BACK. I DID IT YESTERDAY AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY ITCHING SINCE. I APPLIED IT TODAY AGAIN JUST BECAUSE IT WORKED SO WELL YESTERDAY, EVEN THOUGH I STILL HAD NOT HAD ANY ITCHING SINCE MY FIRST APPLICATION. I APPLIED PURE TEATREE OIL TO THE AFFECTED AREA. IT BURNED AT FIRST, BUT IT WAS KIND OF A GOOD BURN IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN, LIKE ALCOHOL ON A PAPER CUT. BUT IT DOESNT LAST LONG. AFTER THAT MY ITCHING WAS GONE. NOW I DONT EVEN KNOW IF THIS IS EVEN SAFE, BUT AS I MENTIONED I HAVENT HAD ANY ITCHING SINCE THE VERY FIRST APPLICATION....GOOD LUCK....M.
