another question about provera

I had posted a question about a week ago with concerns about taking provera because my husband and I are TTC. I really appreciate all the responses but now I am wondering If its possible I might be pregnant. I stated taking provera 4-28 and my doctor said 2 pills for 14 days. today would be the 11th day of taking it- my doctor said after the 14 days should get my AF. I have read alot about implanation bleeding and yesterday and today I am bleeding a very small amount of dark brownish blood. So yesterday there was small amount on panty liner and now today  not even on a panty liner, just a little when I wipe. I have never experienced this before and I was shocked yesterday when I saw this. Even If I did bleed in between periods, it would would be bright red blood nothing like this. Do you think this may be implantion bleeding or do you think it is the drug doing this? I don't want to start getting my hopes up and getting all excited if this is normal for this to happen on this medication and not possibly implantation bleeding. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

It could be the drug trying to produce a period....when on Provera your periods will not be like they normally are.  If you are pregnant provera wont make you have a period.  But you are taking the drug for a long time so your body may be ready to have a period.  Call your Dr and ask.  Just in case.  It wont hurt and if you need to stop provera becasue of pregnancy then you need to go ahead and find out.  Better be safe than sorry.  Sorry Im not too much help, but that all I really know.  Best of Luck! hi im new on this site but i thought maybe i could give u a little info on provera. last month i had to take provera 10 mg for 3 days and on the 3rd day of taking it my period started as informed to me by my dr. when it started it wasnt a real bad period like most of mine are but it did last for 7 days and it had been more heavier than the last 2 months. now after it had started on the next sunday i started taking b/c which i hadnt before and now this month my period came on its own but all it really consist of is brown/black discharge and its been doing this for 4 days now and really on there when i wipe so im not sure if it was from the provera 10 mg last month or if it is from starting b/c. i know the brown discharge is old blood and i have read that when a woman has that it means a start of a new cycle kinda like getting her body back on track. but if u are trying to concieve i really really wish u the best of luck. u should call ur dr. just to be on the safe side because i know when i talked to my obgyn she said that if i were pregnant i would not start a period while on provera so i think it would be a good idea. that and the fact that u may need to give ur body a break from the meds. if u have been taking a long time cause i took clomid to get pregnant with my son 2 years ago only to no avail.
