Hello everyone!
No, I dont have bed bugs, & issue might not be appropriate for this forum, but I just wanted to get as much info on the subject as possible. I live in NYC, use the subway, basically, there is a chance to get the bugs. Just recently my co-worker who is still looking for apartment( she changed a lot of places) found out she's been bitten, it itches, I saw the irritation on skin. The Health dept. doesnt provide general info, so, please, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi. I'm in NYC too and I don't think you should be worried. They're not as commonCommon cold as the TV would have us think.
They move between walls in buildings and fabrics (mattresses, pillows etc).
My father had them in his apt and they got an exterminator for the whole building. Someone had bought a mattress that carried them.
I would be careful where you buy your mattresses and furniture from but I do not think you can catch them from the subway. If that was the case, everyone in NY would have them.
