anyone else have this problem??

i just have one last question.  i had started using tampons sometime last year, and i was fine for 2 or 3 months.  then one day, i had a little more trouble putting it in, abd then when i needed to take it out, i realized that there was this loop of skin that got wrapped around it, and prevented it from just sliding out.  so, i didnt use them for a little while, but then tried it again in a few more months.  was fine for a few days, but it happened again.  so, i basically stopped using them now, because i dont want to fight with them to remove them.  but, i didnt know if anybody else ever had this problem also, or if i should bring attn to it at my appt next week??  i would like to continue using tampons, but not if its going to cause me more problems.

hi, my friend had this problem when she was 12 and the tampon got completely stuck, so she needed to go to the doctor- there was some extra skin, so she had that dealt with.

it doesnt feel caught, it is caught. and, it doesnt come out with it, because it is attatched somewhere inside the vagina, so im guessing that it must not be normal exactly, since no one else knows what i mean.

I can't picture what this loop of skin would be. Does it actually come out with the tampon, or does the tampon just feel "caught"?

Are you sure it was skin around it, or could it have been just a really bad clot. Sometime in the shower when i have my period I notice a bloody stringy thing near the drain, and after the water runs over it it looks very skin like, I brought it to my MD's I know gross, but I thought I was pregnant and lost a baby, they said it was a clot. So, maybe thats happening, maybe you're clots are just big and twiny...Call your MD, it doesn't hurt to ask, they might tell you that its normal but if it looks like another thing that its not. Call the MD.
