apendix removal in C section area

Where a doctor makes a C section cut on a female, right above the pubic hair and below the belly button, is it possible to get your appendix removed from the same spot as  C section would be preformed? and would age have a matter on wher it could be?

My c-section was done through the same spot where they took out my appendix years ago (before the era of removing the appendix by laparoscopy).  The appendix scar was centered on my lower stomach and was not off to one side.  The c-section scar went there and is about two inches longer than the original scar.

If your question is whether the appendix can be removed while the doctor has you open to do a c-section, I think I've heard of doctors doing that.  Talk to your doc about whether there's any point in doing it.

Age wouldn't matter.  You'll have to ask the surgeon if the appendix can be removed from the same C/Section scar.
