bartholin gland pain

So i went to the doctor for my bartholin gland cyst. I was supposed to get a drain put in by local anestesia, but when the ob/gyn dr walked in she told me that i would have to get surgey on it She actually wanted to do it right there and then (in the same day) Well she told me she would have to marsupilize the gland, in which she tryed to explain, but i was just confused. Anyways she told me that the glan was too large to put a drain in. Well I am in so much pain that i just wanted to get everything over with so I said ok. Well i guess i was supposed to have the surgery yesterday, but they couldnt fit me inand now its not till Fri. I am in so much pain that the nicodin they gave me is like cany and it does nothing for me. This gland has swollen so big its like the size of a tangerine. It gits a little bigger ea day because my body wont stop make secetions into that glan just cause its plugged. I feel as there is no skin down there left to strtch out, that it might just explode. Trying to walk kills me because it is very tender and sensitive, just readjusting in bed hurts like hek Even trying to use the little girls room is the worst, it is so sensitive that using tissure is like sandpaper and flexing the muscles down there hurt. I am in so much pain laughing hard and couging is like a big stab! Yall I would never wish this on NOBODY!!! I have never felt in so much pain before and I have a very high threshold/tolerance of pain. In the past week this thing has went from being tolerable to me not even being able to walk! It has even brought me to tears a few times because of the pain. I can belive I have to wait till Fri!! But i know that I will exchange this pain for a different type of pain as i wil have a big 'cut' down there.

I am so nervous about this surgery because this will be the first time i have any kind of surgey. I am totally scared about everything!!EEK!! =(
