bio-identical HRT

My new doctor is prescribing that I start, at age 63, on a compounded formula of estriol, DHEA and testosterone plus Prometrium. This is to prevent worsening of osteopenia and hopefully help me sleep. Does anyone have experience with side-effects, short-term or long-term of taking bio-identical hormones. I am quite scared that it will do me harm. Thank you.
