birth control and acidophilus

Will there be a drug interference if I am on necon 1/35 and take the herbal supplement acidophilus?

You should take your b/c prescription and the supplement bottle to your pharmacist and ask.

I don't believe that acidophilus and b/c interact. I take both (I have IBS so I take Acidophilus to improve the functioning of the intestines) and I have never had a problem. In fact, some women contract recurrent yeast infections from the use of birth control and are given acidophilus to regulate the amount of bacteria. But HappyFlower is right, you should ask your pharmacist or your doctor. It's always good to be safe and to have peace of mind.
