bladder problems after years from a historectomy

I had a historectomy when I was 32 years old..I am 61 yrs. old now and have to wear Poise pads for bladder leakage when I cough or sneeze..It is anoying..I was wondering if that was because of the operation..Is there any medicine for that?Please help me..Brenda
