bleeding longer than 2 weeks

I started spotting and then started light flow over 2 weeks ago. I had 2 days medium flow, then back to light flow with a few small clots some days. All this with hardly any cramps. I had a yeast infection and treated it with a 3 day cream just after the start of this and it went away. Most recently, I am experiencing a feeling of raw tenderness when wiping, but not symptoms of a yeast infection. I am 44yo, mother of 5. I am physically active. My normal period is heavy for 2 days with strong cramps, then lightens up for each consecutive day for 3 days. How long should I let this go on before I call a dr?

Thank you, I did go to the doctor. They are running blood work and pap. They told me I may be going through peri- menopause. They are suggesting hormones. I am going to look for alternatives.

You should go to the doctor just to get a few tests done. If it's caused by an infection, you don't want to leave it a day longer than you have to.
