blisters/ sores around vagina

today i discovered i have a series of 6 to 10 sores/blisters in the area around my vagina. i am not sexually active, but do masturbate. i have never had these before, but they are painful and they burn. it is a constant pain, and i do not know what they are or how to fix it.

does anyone have any idea what i have? and how to get rid of them?

Like PP said, it could be an infection.

The other thing I would be concerned about is Herpes simplex I.  Normally this causes cold sores on the mouth but if you had the virus on your fingers and hadn't washed them, and then masturbated.  You may have transferred the virus to your vagina.

Sounds to me like an infection/irretation. Wash with mild antibacterial soap gently. I am going with this based on the fact you are not sexually active. If it persists or doesn't get any better in a few days of washing then see your gyno.

Also before you masturbate make sure you are washing your hands very well. The littlest thing can cause an infection when it comes to a woman's vagina.
