what can cause breast tenderness? could it be from birth control?

Hot showers I've found to help. That and wearing a sports bra. Sometimes they're moer painful when not wearing a bra so a sports bra gives that comfort support without the wiring ad tightness.
is there anything you can do to help with the soreness? i have been trying not to wear bras or if i do its made of only lace so theres no under wire; its really painful though
Yes it could be a side effect of your birth control or if it's around your menstrual cycle it could be your body's reaction to your period ie. Pms
