brown/black vaginal discharge!

my period started on 23rd dec and ended on around 30th dec...

i had sex on 4th jan... he just entered but pulled out to stop the sperms from going in... he also used his fingers to 'play' with my there...

that night i had some light brown discharge and i thought i was spotting... 2 days later, i realised its a dark brown discharge and at times black too... last night the discharge stopped and i was so relived...

however, just now it came back again... what should i do? am i pregnant??? or is it an infection??? or HIV??? but he's my only partner and i'm his only one too...

are there other ways to solve this than to see a doctor??? please help! urgent!

Well, it could be a lot of things: some relatively harmless, some quite serious so you need to go to the doctor.

Just because you are monogamous with someone, doesn't erase a sexual history (unless you are saying you have only both ever been with each other) so there could very well be stds from previous partners now entering your relationship.

All unexplained bleeding should be evaluated. Since the blood is dark, it means it is old blood, but it seems a bit late to be left over from your period. Get it checked out. Bleeding after intercourse can be an std, cervical problem, many things...

First of all, take a deep breath & relax.   Calm?  Now any kind of abnormal discharge does require a visit to the doctor's office. Are you on birth control? It can be a sign of infection but also a number of other things. Implantation bleeding is also a possibility. There is simply no way anyone online can diagnose you.  Get yourself checked out.  I can tell you with 99.9% certainty it isn't hiv.  Don't set yourself in to a tailspin.  Good luck!

His pulling out is no sure thing that you are protected against getting pregnant. If you aren't already, USE PROTECTION, whether that be the pill, or a condom.
