brown discharge & haven't gotten period

I have a 6 month old. I am currently breastfeeding. I got my period about 3 months ago. The two periods I have gotten the last two months were normal, every 28 days and about 6 days of normal blood. Well, when it came time to get my period for the 3rd month in a row...at the end of January, I started bleeding about 11 days before my period was due. It was heavy blood and clotting. It only lasted two days. Since then, I have had brown discharge on and off which is obvisouly old blood. I haven't gotten my normal period. So basically, I bled 11 days before my period heavy blood....then got brown discharge and haven't gotten period. ALSO.....the last time I had sex was about 2 1/2 months ago. I did get my period after I have sex...which was my period in December. PLEASE give me your opinions....also I don't have insurance right now nor no income except for child support for my child so I won't have the easiest time getting to the doctor!!! Please help!!!
