I am 11 weeks 3 days and last night had brown spotting in my pants, whilst taking a break from sex. There was nothing after that initially happening. I have been diagnosed with PCOS. I'm unsure if it is a result of the condition as I didnt spot after sex (as we usually go for about 3 -6 hours) and haven't spotted since
.I have never been pregnant before and am extremely concerned about this. My mother mestrated for 3 months normally with all 3 of her pregnancies,
I didn't, I stopped bleeding straight away from being pregnant. but had no implantation discharge. It is BROWN like the very first day and  time as a child you get your period. I am hoping that it is just from a sensitive cervix, but is hard to determine.
What sexual positions should not be used during pregnancy????
I understand that every woman is different and each individual pregnancy is different, but it still concerns me. I have my NT scan on the 2nd july... just over a week away. I really dont want to loose my baby as I had been trying for over 4 years to get pregnant. sooo frustrating when OB/GYN appointments are sooo expensive and Sydney hospitals tell you to go home... when all you want to know is the baby alive and if there is a heart beat there.

I am 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant with my first.  My husband and I had intercourse last Wednesday night (5 days ago).  That night I had some red spotting but it eventually went away a few hours later.  I still called the doctor in a panic and they did an ultrasound the next day.  They saw the yolk sack and said everything looks fine but it is still very early.  Been having my blood levels tested regularly and my hCG is going up (right now around 16,000) and my progesterone was 20.3 last week.  The day after I started getting a light brown on the tp when I wipe.  It is concerning and of course I get upset when I read some of the online posts.  I have no cramping and no red blood.  I’ve been wearing a pantyliner and there is nothing on there.  Just when I wipe.
I have a call into my doctor now but he probably thinks I’m crazy.  My first appt is on 7/9 so I have another week and a half to wait.  Not sure if I can wait that long.  Any thoughts…….
Thank you!

I had the same thing happen to me last night. I found out I was pregnant two weeks ago. This is my first. Last night, we had intercourse before we went to sleep. Wen I woke up, there was brown discharge. My sister, who has had a child said this happend to her as well, it's normal. Not to worry. But if you are really worried, call a doctor. And let me know what they say, I am curious what it is medically. Good luck and CONGRATS!

My doctor told me it is normal to have spotting after having intercourse. But if there is more than just spotting you need to call your doctor.

That's not uncommon. Same thing happens to me when I'm pregnant. I remember, at my 3rd trimester appts after a pelvic exam, the doctor always telling me that I may have some spotting.
