brown discharge while on depo shot

I've been on the depo shot for about 9 months now. A few days ago I started getting a brown, stringy discharge that doesn't have a smell to it and I don't have any itching, bumps, pain, ect. Does anyone know what this could be? I've never had discharge before so I'm freaking out. I have an appointment with my OBGYN in 2 days, but I think I'll go insane worrying about it so much until then. help!

I have the same problem and it all started with the depo. i got off of it because i thought maybe my period would return to normal and the brown discharge would go away, but this brown discharge still wont go away. plz let me know what your dr. said until i have to see mine. im freakin out as well. :(

i think that the brown secretion is old blood thats coming out, like maybe you were spotting and since there was so little of it it took a little longer to come out. i know you can get you period on the depo shot for up to nine months. Have you gotten your period?
