brown discharge

Okay so it has been about a month and half since my boyfriend and I have had sex. And we have never had sex unprotected and he always pulls out before he finishes. I got my period about ten days ago and it was completely normal. My periods have always been a bit heavier as it was this month. Two days ago I started to have brown discharge and just a little bit of blood was mixed in. It only lasted for a day. There is no pain anywhere or anything but i was just wondering if i should be worried? is that normal?

i nearly always have brown discharge around a day or 2 after i have finished my period, it could just be blood that hasnt gone out yet ...cant put it any other way sorry. i dont think its anything to worry about.
