brown period

I am 22 I have not seen my period since 13 I had spotting now and then over the years but all of a sudden I am having it now going on 5 days and now it is dark brown do you think there is something there for me to worry about

I have a friend to whom this happens to also. She never has a period, but once in awhile she will have spotting of brown. She herself is not sure why this is. Wish I could help.

No when i have had spotting over the years it was always red but nt my period came after all these years its light and the first two days it was red now its brown n I dont know why me and my BF do have unprotected sex but he never comes inside me s i dnt think i am pregnant but i am scared cause I dont know If i need to go see a doc about it
