brown spotting after period

i am 20 and iv noticed the last 3 months or so iv been getting brown spotting about a week after my period. my period usually only lasts 4-5 days but i don't understand why a week later i would get that spotting, like i said it's only been happening the last 3 months or so.. if any body has some answers for me it would be helpful thanks.

hi. im having the same problem as you! had my period last week (which was a week early) and now a week later ive had brown spotting when i wipe which ive never had before! im sure ive read on this that the brown spotting is just your body getting rid of the excess from your period or something? would be interested to hear what anyone thinks though? :)
