I get something like that and the first time. Scared the crap out of.me being i had a room mate who had genital warts i even googled them.to see if pictures looked like it. BUT it turned out it was just like a infected hair or what u want to.call it. I notice ill.get a random one after shaving during the summer from.sweating or from.wearing thongs the dr said im more proned to.get them.being one of me "lips" are longer than the other that was caused from racking myself very hard as a little girl. Now that trip to the er was embarrassing. Lol if u have a close adult friend such as a mother or aunt maybe a friends mom.who is a nurse u trust u could ask one of them.to take a peak to ease ur mind and i would not touch it. It could irratate it more or the oils on ir fingers could cause more infectiin.should it be just an infected hair and as far as being illergic to latex that could be very likely even if it hadnt happen.before doesnt mean ur not. We are not.born allergic to things its something our bodies decide thru life one.day u could.be.wearing ur favorite perfume next ur breaking out in a rash lol but if u know a nurse like i have an.aunt i always call for adice that u trust they will not think ur weird for asking them.to.take a peak i bet y cant show.them.anything they have not seen before

No problem sweetie.  I hope you get it sorted out.  I have to send out that reminder to make sure we don't 'overstep' here.  But there is lots of information to be had without officially diagnosing.  :>)

Peace and luck to you!

Hi, reminder that we can not diagnose someone here so we can't say What YOU HAVE as we aren't doctors, haven't examined you, and therefore, shouldn't try to diagnose you.

Honey, you really need to be seen by your doctor.  I get that this is a hard appointment or that you may feel a little embarrassed but in truth, this is nothing on the radar of a gynecologist.  They deal with this all day long and far worse.  Most likely an ingrown hair or a cyst which are both common and you would want to get it checked out.  do not pick at it!!  You don't want to do anything that could infect it.

Lots of luck dear and come back and let me know how things go, okay?

What you have is called a sebaceous cyst.  These can happen when the oil glands get blocked, or from folliculitis (an infected hair follicle).

You probably already had it and with having sex it just aggravated it making your more aware that it was there.

Keep your area clean using an antibacterial soap.  Do not use normal soaps as these dry the skin and aggravate it.  Baby washes and non perfumed gentle soaps are fine.  Wear cotton underwear and not manmade fibres like nylon.  Cotton helps the skin breathe.  Do not use any sprays down below either.

It is unlikely that this happened because of the condom.  But in the event that you are allergic to latex, you can now purchase non-latex condoms.

If you find your cyst is not getting small, and is persistently sore or getting worse, they I would advise you see your doctor.

Best wishes

It could be an ingrown hair.  Anything pimple-like can really hurt when you put pressure on it, which is probably why it hurt to wipe.  Try soaking it in warm water for a while, as warm as you can handle (don't burn yourself).  I don't think the use of the condom has anything to do with it.

the thing is...today i woke up and its still there...it wasn't hurting...but then i had to pee and when i wiped it hurt .....its a rather small pimple looking button down there....i just don't want anything to be wrong....and yes we used condoms...this happened for the first time....we've been having sex before and nothing like this occurred.....it was our first time with the condom..and my very first time using a condom....i'm not accustomed to these things...i lost my virginity to my boyfriend...and i'm scared about these things

I doubt an STD would show up so quickly, so it probably is a cyst or small boil.  You actually shouldn't clean out wounds with peroxide, because it causes irritation and can actually delay healing.  Warm water and some soap, and then antibiotic ointment is a better idea.  Warm soaks will also help bring it to a head if it is a pimple/boil.  I would recommend waiting a couple days to see if it resolves on its own, and don't have sex for now (that could really hurt, especially if it bursts).  If it isn't resolving, you should go to a clinic.

Hi there and welcome.  Well, bumps on the labia could indeed be an STD but also can occur due to other things.  One possibility is a cyst.  If that area had no air, a cyst can develop which would look as you describe--  like a pimple.  Do NOT try to burst it as that should only be done by a doctor and if it gets painful, that is who you would need to see.  If you burst it yourself, you are open to infection.  And you do NOT want an infection there!! You could also have folliculitis.  This is typically more 'itchy' though.  There is also a kind of skin rash that can be passed from one to another called molluscum congagiosum.  It is not an std but a skin rash but it can be passed on to genitals.  And then there's herpes.  Or it could be a fluke.  I'd wait to see what happens in the next day or so and if it is still there or something changes---  you need to see a doctor sweetie!

Always use protection no matter how well you know your partner.  good luck
