bump on cervix

I have noticed lately that I have a bump on my cervix. In 1997 I had LEEP done on my cervix to remove potential cancer cells (these cells were sin 1) my gynacologist at the time said that it was up to me but I could have surgery (LEEP) or just have a repeat pap in 3-6 months, I chose to have the surgery, hoping that I would never have to deal with it again. Well I have had a couple of abnormal paps since but nothing within the last 2-3 years. I have 1 child, he is 2&1/2 and was born by c-section. I only dialted to 6-7 after 36 hours, so a c-section was performed. I also haven't had a period since March. I have 2 negative pregnancy test, and hormone testing come back normal. I have hypothyroidism and take 125mg of snythroid daily, I had my thyroid tested last month and it too was normal. So my question is what could be causing me to not have a period, and what if anything is the bump on my cervix? Thank you

I live in Newfoundland, Canada and there isn't much here. No public transportation except taxi's and I can't see my DH paying $30-$40 for a taxi to take me to the doctor. I know that I shouldn't give up but I am at the point now where I am so sick of getting the run around. I have phoned my dr office twice now to ask if they have forwarded my new phone number to the OB/GYN that they are supposed to be sending me to and I also asked the name of the OB/GYN, so that I could call myself and both times the receptionist said that she would do it (she was busy at the time), and get back to me and twice I haven't heard anything back...I want another baby in the worst way but the dr said not to try and I really don't see any point as I haven't had a period in 5 months so that makes me think that I am not ovulating and wouldn't be able to get pregnant anyways. Anyways, I don't know what else to do...

I phoned the clinic here and there is a doctor taking new patients but he is only taking those that don't already have a family doctor and because I do have one then I am not able to get in to see this doctor..so I guess I just play the waiting game and see...I don't have my licence and we live about 15 minutes from my dr office...also my hubby works in the same town as the dr office but he can't really take anytime off of work...I have NO friends or relatives living here and I don't know anyone that I could ask to take me to see the dr..so I guess I will just forget about it and go on with my life, never mind about having another baby...my dr doesn't seem to be too concerned so I guess I shouldn't be either...

Hi Why is your doctor telling you not to be trying to get pregnant when your not having a period. He must have mistaken his vitamin for a stupid pill. Why isn't the OB-GYN setting you an appointment up for you?You need to be seen now not later. Is there another OB-GYN you might be able to see.Are you having any pain from your cervix,or cramping sensations in your lower abdomen?Do you see a endocrinologist for your hypothyroidism?Maybe you should check into seeing a specialist for your thyroid condition. They might be able to help with the hormone levels as well and do more deeper testing than a primary care giver since that is there speciality. It's worth looking into.Talk to your husband and discuss all the issues with him and see what he thinks after all two heads are better than one.All so talk with your family and get some help and some information. In the mean time try to find another OB-GYN,have your family help find one that is recommended highly that will take good care of you.Take Care TNT406.P.S.Let me know how every thing is going and if you find a doctor and if your going to see a specialist about your thyroid.Remember GOD LOVES YOU.

I have seen my doctor about not having a period and he is sending me to a OB/GYN..the OB/GYN said that he would see me eventually, whatever that means. My doctor also wants to send me for an ultrasound but not until just before I go to see the OB/GYN. My doctor has told me not to try and get pregnant and the he doesn't want to "give" me anything (I asked about BC pills) until I see the OB/GYN. He knows that we want to start trying for baby #2. So I have no idea what to do...

Hi Have you seen your gynecologist for this problem with the bump on your cervix? You should all so consult with your doctor about not having a period since March. You should make an appointment with your gynecologist tomorrow, and get every thing checked out. There has to be a reason your not getting your period.Your hormone levels checked out normal, maybe other blood work needs to be done. All so ask your doctor if the bump on your cervix could be causing you not to have your period.Take Care TNT406.
