can endometrioma disappear?help

Hi girls. I wonder if something like this happend to any of you. I was diagnosed with big endometrioma (62x54x60mm) back in june. I had un ultrasound yesterday and i was told that it is not there, that the ovary seems to be fine! I am due to have laparoscopic surgery in two weeks. And i just can't believe it. I am not feeling any better than in june, i feel worse. It can't be all in my head right? PLS help mi. I feel like i am going crazy. :( I would feel better if it went away, wouldn't i? :(:(
