hey everyone, hopefully you can help me!!About 4 months ago i was diagnosed with bacterial yeast infection by my doctor and was given a prescribed 3 day cream that u insert into your vagina. It complete;y cleared everything! About 2 1/2 months later, i got it again, bpught the cream again and cleared up. Now about 2 weeks ago i had sex with my bf and yesterday i started feeling the symptoms again! This is driving me crazy!!!! Also, whenevr we have sex, i ALWAYS get like papercuts in my vagina, like ripped cuts. I cant go tot he doctor until next month so i need a cure now. Should i buy the vaginal cream again?? Do you think my bf has a yeast infection from me and we keep passing it to each other?? Also, what are the sympstoms in a guy for yeat infection? Thank you so much for your help and god bless!

when i had a yeast infection the doc told me to treat myself and my bf. he just rubbed the cream that comes in the tube (not the stuff u insert into urself) on his penis.

Men CAN get yeast infections, the head of their penis will get dry looking and their peepee hole will be red and it will burn when they pee I've heard discharge could happen but it normally doesn't. Male yeast infections can be caused by not drying off good enough after showers OR it could come from haveing unprotected sex with and female while she has one. Heres a website I found about it.

Men can also get yeast infections without any symptoms, so I think he should get checked out.

Like everyone else said...men can get yeast infections.  It could go either way...you could have gave it to him and then he never got treated and he keeps giving it to you, or he could have gotten it and gave it to you and still passing since he's not be treated.  I messed up and gave it to my husband one time and FYI, the cream does help men!

are you sure it was a yeast infection? if it was a bacterial vaginosis infection you and your bf can transfer it, not every doc will tell you that, but it is true.  I had the same prob with my husband...finally a nurse took pity, after about the 6th time to the doc aqnd gave me pills for him to take too, or he can rub the cream on his penis, the same cream that you insert...There is a distinct diff in yeast and bact. vag. there is also something called tricamonis, and for that your bf has to take the pills too or you will always get it back....try the same cream u used before, but make him use it too...and wait..if you get again, get to a doc, not only is it the most uncomfortable thing in the world to have, it can cause long term damage to the reproductive organs if left untreated...good luck
