Yes it is possible. There's all kinds of ways you can get hemmeroids (sp?), pushing at childbirth, pushing too hard while trying to go #2, etc. One of my friends once got them by wearing a thong and exercising in it - no kidding - the rubbing of the thong against the anus for an hour on end actually caused it. Sometimes they are not very painful, sometimes they need to be lanced if they fill up too much. You can get hemmeroid cream to help, or sit in what's called a "sitz bath". You can buy the products at any local drug store. Hope this has helped, good luck to you!
