chronic pelvic pain

I have been having chronic pelvic pain for over two months now. I had a CT scan of my abdomen and ultrasound of my pelvic area and everything was clear. I had a scrapping done in my uterus and things were good. I had blood work done and urine tests. Things are all clear. This is great...but I still have my pain in my right side of my pelvis and the past two days I have been experiencing a burning sensation that is constant in my pelvis as well. I am on day 16 of my cycle. I went to emergency last night because I couldn't sleep and I have had a heating pad on my pain. I am taking naproxin, but it isn't taking away the pain. Last night in emergency they took a urine test and blood work. Things were find. They told me to go to a gynocologist next week and gave me T3s. I can't get into the gynocolgist for a few days though. I just want an idea of what this can be???
Thank you sooo much.

I do still have PID and it does cause alot of pain especially during my cycle. I have the medications that I take for my Fybro and ruptured disc and DDD and they help with the pain a great deal. But there are days when it does make me want to lay in bed with a heating pad all day.
I do not think it ever goes away though. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and told I would have no more children and I did have a little girl after that and when I did the endo disappeared. Anything is possible:)

Hi,
I am so sorry your in so much pain and have no diagnosis. I know it is very frustrating to know something is wrong and not have a clear answer as to what it is.
I have pelvic inflammatory disease and your symptoms do sound familiar.
PID is often over looked and it is very painful. I have had this for many years and even suffered from this before I hurt my back and was diagnosed with Fibro.
I suggest asking your OB about it when you go to see her. I was taking anaprox for the pain years ago for it and it helped some. I did have Lortab for when the pain was too much though.
Ask your OB to help you with the pain atleast until you can get a definate diagnosis and then find out if it can be treated to end the pain.
Others will have some suggestions and advice also:)
