clitoris itching, help!

hello, this will be my second post, my first one was very serious and i got lots of help from you guys :) hopefully you can help me out again.
Almost a week ago, my boyfriend and I had sex, using a different brand of condoms. I also received more attention to my clitoris then usual.
Two days ago I recieved my first pap test, i was very nervous! but that is not important.
Before the pap test, i had a little itching, didn't really worry me too much and during the pap test it didn't hurt.
However, DURING the pap test, when she clamped it to open the area, I remember feeling quite a bit of pain, but I can't remember if it was the clitoris that it effected, I do remember it only lasting for a second though.
Now, my clitoris feels VERY sensitive, more then usual, and it's hurting and itching quite a bit.
I'm thinking maybe when the doctor "cranked" (i hate that word too) me open, it might've stretched.
While reading discussions on this site of similar problems, i came across this:

my clit area and the opening, as well as the lips itch.

This is exactly what it feels like, but nobody commented on that discussion.
please help!

the best thing to try first is vagisil that usually works when i itch down there. when u went to the doc it probably just irritated it
