clomid and periods

okay, I took clomid for the first month. On day 22 of my cycle I took the blood test and it indicated that I did ovulation. My doctor went ahead and prescribed it for the 2nd month; however, it is now day number 34 and I still haven't started. Obviously, I can't take the medication again until I do, but the HPTs say negative. How long should I wait until I call my doctor or does clomid mess up the cycles completely? PLEASE ADVISE! Thank you

Clomid is notorious for delaying cycles. Give it a few more days and see what happens.
