Clomid is used to correct irregular ovulation (to help women w/fertility issues concieve.)  I'm sure it can be used to regulate your cycle.  Talk to your doctor.

Unfortunatly, you experienced an awful side effect of the shot.  It may take a bit longer for the erratic bleeding to cease.  Maybe once the hormones are completely out of your system, your periods will become normal again.

Well Im also on clomid.  Clomid is used to help make you ovulate, but before worrying about that you should really get the bleeding stopped.  Clomid does not have anything to do with your period and cannot make you stop bleeding.  Your Doc may want to give you some other type of pills to stop the bleeding, and then if you are NOT ovulating they will give you the Clomid, to induce the ovulation for conceiving purposes.  Good Luck.

I had been on Clomid for 4 months (I'd stopped taking it a month ago cuz it didn't help me at all) and it did lighten up my period each month but I don't know if it'd actually stop any bleeding.  You'll probably want to discuss it with your Doctor.  Clomid is mainly used for ovulation purposes (if you can't ovulate on your own) and your Doctor can explain this further, too.  Good luck!

Clomid is used to stimulate your ovaries and produce more eggs than you would on your own. I took Clomid (100) for one cycle. Days 5 through 9 of my cylce. And it worked for me I am currently 7 wks. pregnant. Good luck to you!!!
