contraceptive pill

my doctor perscribed me yasmin today and i have already had my period this month but it is for acne and im not expecting my period for another 3 weeks so can i just start taking them if its not for contraception? and when around will my next period be if i dont take it on my first day

what did your dr say he was putting you on it for? you start any pill on the 1st day of your period the instructions should be in the packet. you need to find out y u were prescribed them 1st
