cramping after lap

ok, i had a laproscopic procedure with hysterscopy and d and c 2 weeks ago. i have felt pretty good up until about two days ago. i still have not had sex yet, or done anything i am not supposed to, but i am cramping and hurting worse now then i did last week. anyone know why this might be?

If you are hurting worse now, it could be an infection.  Sometimes there is residual tissue that is missed during a D&C.  This can cause an infection.  You need to call the doctor right away and let them know what is going on so they can get you in and check you out.

thanks, i am waiting on a call back from the nurse. i did not really think it could be an infection since  have done everything they said, but i guess it is possible. thanks.

well, i heard back from my nurse and she told me unless i ws running fever or vomitting then there were no signs of infection. she then told me that becuase of my diagnosis of adynomyosis that the procedure would probably not help me that much and the only thing i could do would be to have a hysterectomy. is that the only option?
