cramps

Hello everyone,
I have been feeling cramps on my abdomen since 2 or 3 days ago and I am wondering if they could mean that I am pregnant. I read some pregnancy symptoms on twoweekwait.com and I noticed that many of the women experienced cramps right before finding out that they are pregnant. What I want to know though, is where exactly these cramps are felt and what do they feel like. I feel them all over my stomach, not only my lower abdomen. Actually I am not even sure if they are cramps, but more like twinges or short, sharp pains that last a couple of seconds. I have never experienced cramps before my period before but I always know when my AF is coming because I feel SOMETHING in my lower abdomen. I have that feeling again, but it's weird because I just got off the birth control pill last month. Last year I got off the BC pill and didn't have my period for 9 months. It would be really soon for me to get my period right after getting of the BCP, I think. I hope I am making sense. Well, the twinge that I feel the most is right under my ribcage, it is not really painful, it is just there and I feel it many times througout the day. I would  appreciate any information that anyone could give me about this. Thank you very much and have a great day...or night! It is evening here in California and it is so hot! I have also been wet down there a lot but I don't even know if I am sweating because of the heat, or if I have discharge.

When I was a week late I started having cramps either on my right or left side at the bottom of my abdomen.  Sometimes it hurt so bad I felt like I couldnt hardley walk.  I was thinking AF was going to be really bad when she arrived because Ive never had cramps like this.  I took an HPT and it was positive.  Have you taking a HPT?  Best of Luck!!!!!!

Hi ! Your question reminds me of my experience. Not to disappoint you but i had similar twinges in my abdomen some 3 months back.I and my hubby have been ttc for nearly 7 moths so these twinges had shown me a ray of hope only to be dissapointed by the arrival of af.I checked with my gynac and she said that pms symptoms may include these type of cramps. However, all women are different and i really hope its a pregnancy in your case.Wish you all the very best.Keep us informed....

I live in LA county. Thanks for the advice jgonzales, I AM planning on making a doctors appt. soon, but I just wanted to ask here because the wait to see the doctor is usually a week or two. Sometimes I feel so inpatient and I can't wait to find out if I am pregnant because my husband and I really want a baby.

When I was pregnant (many years ago) I had cramps throughout my pregnancy - for the whole 9 months! Are you late with your period? Perhaps you will be getting your period soon. You can pick up an early pregnancy testing kit at your drug store, these are very accurate. The cramps I had felt like mild to moderate menstrual cramps, but of course, no bleeding. If you get any severe pain, especially if it's one sided, fever or fainting go to the nearest ER.

Where in CA do you live?
I would go to the doctor to get everything looked at, just to be on the safe side..
