curved uterus?

by boosty, May 09, 2007 12:00AM
hi you guys. i have a question. yesterday , i did a pelvic ultrasound. i dont have results yet, but one thing the technician told me was that i have a curved uterus. what does that mean? could it be bad or serious? and can it effect the delivery of upcoming babies if i were to get pregnant again? for my daughters delivery, she was kind of stuck down there so i had to do an emergency c-section. could that have been one of the reasons?

I never heard the term "curved" used but I've heard of a tilted or retroverted uterus.  I have a tilted uterus also and I had two children.  I don't know if it was already tilted before I got pregnant but I know the doctor first mentioned it after my first pregnancy.  I had no problems conceiving again and the only problem I have is back pain which could be from that.
