well i have never had your problem, but if you work in the medical field you should know wether or not you can wait ths out or not. Also i think the best person to give you advice on all this would be your GYN or maybe u should go for a 2nd opinion.
Well tonight was so frustrating. The pain has become so unberable to I called my gyn and she said to go to the emergency room. So I went and the doctor there decided the pain had nothing to do with my cyst and put me thru a bunch of tests just to tell me he had no idea what is wrong with me. I showed him my copy of my sonogram report but he said that because most of my pain is on my right side and the cyst is on the left that the 2 things had nothing in common. I just want to cry..
You can have a cyst on one side and have pain on the opposite
side. If I were you, I'd get a second opinion or go to another
ER and see what the doctors find out. Explain where your pain
and symptoms are and let them diagnose you. Sometimes we can
sway a doctor's treatment if we try to "tell" the doctor what
we think is wrong. Good luck!

Well, you definitely are in pain and you need a resolution. I would try another doctor, another ER--whatever it takes for them to listen to you!!! There is absolutely no way they can say a 20+ cm cyst isn't causing you pain!
I feel for you. I have had some chocolate cysts removed from my right ovary and have since had a hysterectomy and my right ovary removed. I still have the left one which I got results from an US that showed a smallish cyst that had doubled in size in a month. I have trouble managing my pain as well and none of the doctors seem to be much help. Keep searching until you find one that takes you seriously and best of luck to you!
If you've already been to your Gyn and he/she isn't doing so, get a new one.
Good luck! Keep us posted!
