dark brown blood

today i started to have bark brown blood come out i had a baby 5 weeks ago and after i had her i blood for about two weeks and stoped i was breast feeding my daught but stopped yesterday and i started to take birth control on tuesday and then today i started to have dark brown blood out of no where what is it?
