depo shot

I have been on the depo shot for about 5 years. I took my last shot in January, I'm due for my next but I'm not getting it because we want to try for a baby. Does anyone know how long it's going to take to be out of my system completely or if there is a way I can speed up the process?

I was told it takes up to 18weeks to 28 months I asked my doctor the same thing she said its all on the person though but that's the estimated time
