I just got back from work! early yay not for good reasons but anywaysssss  I just read that long thread that that 14 yrs old wrote...it has to be fake I just couldn't believe what I was reading!!!!! it makes me so mad...I swear that post better be fake...I can't imagine that being true..choosing  what guy because he's cuter..baby at 14??? that's too much for me right now!!!  and since I can'r drink!!!!!!  I'll make me some kool aid! lol

you are a very good girl to stay away from drinking!! i was not 21 and tried my 1st sip at 14. TOO YOUNG but hey, its better than having sex in my book at 14.

yeap Im one yr over 18! going for my 20's this february yay lol well can't deny I've tried a few drinks...actually my brother made me when I was like 17 ...I've never gotten drunk or anything like that, just few sips...but I really didn't like any lol kool aid does the trick for me right now! hehe and definetely a drink it's better than sex at 14! I wouldn't doubt that that post is real.  I work with teen parents helping them with vouchers for daycare.  I have to explain many things that they never considered when they got pregnant like, what will you do with your baby while you are in school and your mom is at work getting a paycheck to feed her grandson?  Or if you take the school bus at 7:30am who will drop off your child at daycare?
I swear it makes me sick everytime I see a 14 year old coming in to my office pregnant or with a baby, and they give you a terrible attitude like they know everything and their moms are the ones that have to answer all questions because everything is so new to them...

I would put her on the 'pill'.. I know she's young for that, but it will prevent her from getting pregnant..
I wonder if she knows about STD and stuff..

I pray to god, that she gets the help she needs, its hard to belive if this story is true or not.. all I know we have alot of ppl that want to help her.

oh lord i can ONLY imagine. i feel SOOOO strongly about this and i could never do what you do. i mean, i am a teacher of children, young teens and high school but never about this stuff. general academics. i'd be lecturing until the cows come home! you need to be proffessional and give the facts, organize everything but all in all....they are NAIVE and do NOT have a CLUE!!!!!!!! thats the frustrating part!! good job on what you do. heres an award...

If this matter is a religious one (which it sounds like it is) don't most Christian religions believe in no sex until marriage?  I would be curious to know what these people are following that says you have to have sex once you get your period.

I went and left a nice thread on the 14 year old thing. I remember on tv a thing about people like her mom. It ws just like she said. God want's her to and she is ready, but the thing was it was a cult. and the kids do it with the cult leader to keep the cult pure. CRAZY!!!! If that is the case - I did say a nice word. if it's not - there are some sick people in this world.  I'm up for a drink. I wait till fri., but it's been one hel* of a day.

sliga - YOU'VE NEVER BEEN DRUNK?? I must of really been a bad bad girl in school. I don't think there's a drug I didn't try. only on the weekends though. Ok , maybe a few days in between too. I made good grades though. The pot made me focus more. lol

well she said her mother had drug use and bi polar so i dont doubt her religious beliefs arent ones she made up. if you have ever known a bi polar that doesnt take their meds OOOOOOO my. not talking smack ladies just stating how it works. she has to had many things taught to her that are loopy. but after talking with other kids  you would think they would tell her different and she might question. it. i dont know what to think, what mother wants their child to be a parent and tells them to do so at 13???? when my son is 24 i will still be saying NOOOOOOOOO.

lol you made me laugh! no I've never been drunk...never tried any kind of drug! I was never tempted and now that I am 19 don't regret and still  don't wanna try anything...I always thought maybe I was just weird and a nerd to add lol always the quite one...I've never gone out to a party! like a disco..or anything like that...just silly 14 yr old parties when I was that age...man am I missing on lots of things lol

i think we scared ms 14 yr old looking to have a baby. when i got my period, im like what the hell is this???? what do i do? what does it mean? i am a woman hear me roar! never in a million years did i correlate period with baby. until i was 33.

I thought about cult too.  But the mothers of the girls that are having babies don't really seem to care much.  Oh the cleaning lady at my office told me one day "You're married and don't have kids?, You know what they say about a tree that doesn't bear fruit?"  I still don't know what they say but GEEZ where does it say that being married means that yous hould start having kids immediately? I'm 26 and have been married for 4 years and I'm still not ready.

Now--onto the original poster.  How sad, ladies, if this is really real?  I don't doubt for one second that there are "cultures" in the world that have this backward mentality.  I've never witnessed it, but I don't doubt it.  Heck, in some of the inner cities of our country we have babies that get pregnant, and so did their momma, and their momma, etc.  
However, this young person/whatever seemed VERY knowledgable about some things, and ignorant on others.  It just feels a little contrived to me.

Whatever.  
The truth of it is that whoever this is is claiming to be 14 and wants to get pregnant and pick out clothes?  And the bf/cute guy/ugly guy is gonna send money?  And if the mom is so bad, how can she send money?  

It can't be real. It just can't.  If it is, then God help us all.  I'm with Lucy.  Enough of our money goes into the system as it is.

i love wine. the one time years ago i was to go wine tasting a bunch of us went to stay at a friends house at the beach. well i got so tore up the night before i couldnt go! i went back and slept while they all had fun. what a loser i am hahahhaa.

I agree w/ you, I was gone today too & now all this, I wonder if it's a few teenagers playing on the comp. Really at 14yrs if she has ever seen a baby be born she'd be going back to babydolls, maybe a birthing video would help, I was terrified at 17yrs old in Nursing School watching babies be born!! I think it's totally FAKE & some guys r laughing right now about this!!!! But there's no way to really know :) & if her mom has edu. so much then why did she ask us can u pick the sex?? at 14 I think you'd ask your friends this kinda stuff instead of strangers if this were real!!! No, I ordered the #*^#$%@ thing!! It came in a million pieces!!! It's to put in a mud room. You can store stuff in it like hat's gloves and stuff. Your shoes go on the bottom. You can sit and take them off.I thought it was a great investment. My hubby said it'sa piece of sh**. I think I have to agree with him. I got ripped off. the kids will be the only ones that can sit on it.

It's the next morning where I am. I was thinking after I went to bed last night.  - Us thinking it's so bogus should let you know how wrong it is. Having childrwen is a huge responsibility. You need to get an education first, and get married. Do not listen to your mother. Don't get pregnant. Easy as that.  Just think - babies grow up. when they get past the eigth grade. how will you help them with their homework? You won't be able to. Don't even think about having sex either. All because you had your pd. does not mean God wants you to breed. It's just a part of growing up. Now, does that answer your question?

thats totally up to you. you asked a Q here and technically you could be booted off medhelp because you are under age. isnt that ironic that you are so young to even be on a health forum and here you are tyring to have a baby??? no one here has reported you to medhelp so basically, i think you should feel appreciative and answer the questions you were asked and be honest so we can help you. if you do not want help...the best of luck to you.

okay I just read the dmjain forum, I really hope its a joke too. I mean I'm sure anything is possible, but having sex and ttc at 14, that's just wrong! maybe renee is from a culture (obviously not america) where this sort of thing is acceptable, or the norm.
