do i have a prolapse vagina?!

if you use a mirror to look up your vagina are you ment to be able to see right up or should there be something in the way?! i think there is something wrong with mine :(

Most of the time, the vagina is shut, like a mouth.  It has depth inside, but it doesn't hang open.  That's why an ob-gyn has to crank it open with a speculum if he or she wants to look inside.  I wouldn't be too distressed if you are not able to look up yours unless you are lying on a table with a magnifying mirror and have inserted a speculum correctly.  Even then, you might well see the cervix, particularly at certain times.  Ask your doctor if all looks normal, he or she sees dozens of vaginas a week and could certainly tell you if you are in the norm.  Good luck!
