hi,am 26 yrs. old and one year married but up to now i never get pregnant. i had already gone through papsmear and ultrasound,the results are normal.my husband had already gone through sperm count and he is perfectly normal.what's the problem?i getting paranoid because before i have taken cortal tablets to prevent getting pregnant.am thinking that maybe its the reason why till now am not yet pregnant..does taking this pill damage your reproductive system???or does it really prevent pregnancy???Pls. help, thank you!!!

all issues I've read were all in contrary,some says that cortal have an effect of
abstaining from pregnancy together with coke. other says that case was unproven...
can anyone tell me which is true?
i admit i also take cortal today(4 tablets + 1can coke)exactly , since i have unprotected sex yesterday...

I do have frends who are med students as well who took cortal + coke 1-3days after their sexual intercourse but on a case to case basis...like if they are sure that their mates are 101% sperm blown out inside... i heard that cortal is used only upto 1-3days after their intercourse beyong that itwill not be effective. but i tell u guys that having a practice of drinking it  every after your sexual intercourse may have an adverse effects in the future...advise! dont use this drug often or consider it as a pill because it's not.

They also try drinking a glass of blended ampalaya...for the same purpose and is proven effective plus the fact that it has no side effects.

I have also read other posts here that they are delayed in a weeks...if so why not buy a PT to be sure if you're pregnant or not... PT are can be used after 3days of your recent sexual intercourse.

Too, I am a med student and responsible to take care of our patients and not to kill them...If you're pregnant why not take responsible of your mistakes... You should be able to face the future consequences of your doings...REMEMBER: One mistake will not corrected by ANOTHER mistake...

Charting got me a BFT! I truly reccoment reading the book "Taking Charge Of Your Fertility".. It will really give you the best information on the hows and whys. Its about $25 for a new book at Borders but I believe u can purchase a used for a way cheaper price.

it seems that you are NOT pregnant...yay. but are you somehow trapped into getting married? if you are not ready, marriage won't work. i was involved in such a terrible  decision when i was younger and i am now 1 child short.

human sperm coupled with human egg equals human baby...whether 2,4,8,16,32,64,... cells. look at a basic biology textbook. it's not a tree, a frog, a mule...it's your child.

.. we are on the same boat.. but i want to abort it if im really pregnant... until now i dont have my period.. but i think im really am pregnant. my friend advised me to take cortal 3 times a day.. and stop taking it until i have my mentruation.. good luck! but i advise u to take pills wen u sex after aborting ur baby this time if you're not really ready .. Norethisterone Ethinyl Estradiol may do.. its Micropil.. on the first week you'll be taking the pills use an additional method of protection until u hav taken the first 7 pills.. this is only for the first month you take the pill.

no!!, im just saying thats how it works. drink the pill and intend of water drink it with a beer. many are curious, i just put a clarification on their question about it.. im not in favor of abortion... if the couple is not ready to have a child practice safe sex by not drinking anything. that they would regret it in the future...
