p.s. - if it's just your natural scent, then be aware that there are awesome products out there called 'feminine deodorant sprays' that will take care of it.  It's an easy problem to fix.

Don't be scared to go to the doctor...consider this:  The gynaecologist sees all sorts of things in a single day of work, from something as routine as checking for a bacterial infection (which is what will be done to you), or something as outlandish as checking someone's genital warts/herpes infection/prolapsed cervix, etc.

So if embarrassment is an issue, stop worrying about it.  Still worried?  Go google image search a few STDs and look at what it does to people.  Realize: You're going to be the HIGH POINT OF HER DAY, you're going to be the easy person to care for.

It is far better to put your big girl panties on and take care of it now than to find out a few years from now that some bacterial infection has quietly taken away your ability to have children, right?  You need to go to the doctor - even if it's nothing.

Really, even if the doctor tells you, "Sorry, you just have a natural aroma," you'll know it, and you won't worry about it anymore, right?

If its foul smelling go to the doctor, embarrassing shouldn’t be a concern considering you’re NOT the first girl/woman to have this problem.  When odor is foul it means something is wrong.
It could be: Bacterial Vaginosis~, STD, ~ Vaginitis~ Yeast infection ~

Look them up.
And go see doctor,  once your sexually active you should be getting a gynecological check up anyway

good luck
