Thank you so much for replying, Silver. No, I didn't have any meds for that before the procedure. I'm probably just expecting miracles - as you say, they did have to move stuff around - I expect there was a fair bit of poking and prodding. I guess that could make the bowel a bit sore and oversensitive. So... I've decided to be optimistic and give everything the benefit of the doubt until this time next month. Give everything a chance to settle down. I have a follow up with the consultant in two or three weeks anyway. Thanks again for your good wishes.

Hi , I also had endo but have now had a hysterectomy , I would guess that you would be feeling some pain still a week after surgery as they have to move organs around to look behind and get to the endo to zap it . I would guess it would affect your bowel as well , did you have to take strong medication to clear the bowel before the procedure ? . You are the only one however who knows how bad you feel so maybe you should speak to the surgeon and find out if this is normal . Wishing you a speedy recovery , take care - Silver
