enlarged uterus

by poohbearblm, Jun 01, 2007 12:00AM
My doctor did a pap smear and found I have an enlarged uterus.  She also did an ultrasound to test for fibroids which came back negative. She did some blood work which shows I am anemic. They recommeded prenatal vitamins.  My question is, Is there something I can do to bring my uterus to regular size?  I have gained alot of weight, have problems with my back and I am always tired. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am a little overweight.

No, an enlarged uterus can be caused by different things, fibroids, infection, etc. You said that your test came back negative, so that's good. Being overweight doesn't have anything to do with it. Best wishes to you.
