fallopian tubes

I have had three c-sections by three different doctors and during my last c-section i had a tubal ligation. After everything was over and i was back in my room a nurse who was in the operating room said that my doctor had tied three fallopian tubes! My question is if this is possible and if so why didnt either one of the other doctors ever notice and why did this doctor never mention it? I'm really concerned about this and just wondering if any one has ever heard of such a thing.
