feelings of pressure and 'thumps' in uterus

Hi again! I have posted some questions before about my menses being gone for six months. I continue to have questions about this. This morning when I woke up I rolled from my side to my back and I felt small "thumps" in my uterus. I am guessing it was gas, but I have never had that type of gas. I could feel it on the outside with my hand? Maybe my uterus is working on releasing my menses? I have taken many many pregnancy tests and they where all VERY negitive. Should I consider a blood test. How often are there false negitves? Maybe the thumps ARE gas and I am mistaking them for somehting else? Does anyone have any information to help me out. I do not currently have insurance and we are going to have to wait a little while for us to afford insurance. I cannot find a free clinic in this town. Any home remedies that might help my period to come along?
Thanks to all!

Thank you for the help! I am having some sharp pains in the connections to my anis to my vagina. Last week it was hurting pretty constant. It was not an awful pain just dull! I really need to go to see a doc! Planned parenthood sounds good! Thanks again for the advice!

Try Planned Parenthood.  It is rare, but occasionally someone posts whose pregnancy never or almost not until the end showed up on a home test.  So it's worth a blood test and/or an ultrasound.  Explain your problem and your symptoms and maybe they will be able to do a scan.  Good luck!

Yes we do have an ER! it is less than a mile down my street. But when I had Medicaid with my son, I had to go to the ER because I felt like I was having contractions. They hurried me up to labor and delievery and put my insurance under my old one. Blue Cross.. Later I began to recieve bills and I tried to straighten it out, but I cannot get it across to them that I was on medicaid. Medicaid will have to talk to the ER and they refuse to do it! They have already reported us to the collection agency!  I dont know if they will let me through?? They have to dont they? They cant refuse me. Can they?  Thanks

Just go to a doctor or hospital to have an ultrasound if you are really worried. I haven't heard too many stories about people being so pregnant that they didn't even know until it was born or well into the pregnancy. But if it was because you're pregnant it sounds like you would already be well over 16 weeks in order to feel movement and even this is early. It could be gas - or alternatively it could also be muscle spasms within your uterus or bowels/intestines. This could also be felt on the outside with your hand. Better to be safe than sorry and seek medical advice - even if it's to rule out pregnancy as it could be something else...or nothing. Either way go to a dr soon as I don't think any of us can really accurately advise you...just offer advice, you know?
