fibroid surgery??
Hi. recently DX with large fibroid growing in and out of uterus. Thought to be the reason behind infertility. My GYN has suggested the new davinci myomectomy which is supposed to be easier on me and have really good results. I'm wondering if any one here has had this surgery and has advice or would like to share their experience. Also suffer from severe endometriosis and complex growing cysts for 6+ months on right ovary. Ca125 normal.

Hi there, I just had a myomectomy 3/26/08 and had 5 fibroids removed.... I was scared, but more afraid of leaving them in my uterus to continue to grow. I am healing and fealing fine. There are two smaller ones left in that my surgeon thought would be best left untouched. If you are trying to get pregnant these can definately get in the way if they are big enough... Hope this helps
